The card for this year’s AEW Revolution PPV event is coming along with several matches already confirmed. However, one planned match might have to be pushed back.
Rey Fenix suffered an injury when the Lucha Bros defended their AEW World Tag Team Title against The Jurassic Express in the main event of the debut episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS when he took a chokeslam through a table. Fenix landed directly on his arm and is expected to make his return next month.
Dave Meltzer speculated on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio that the Death Triangle vs House Of Black match might not take place at Revolution due to Fenix not being cleared in time.
“Also, if he’s ready, I think they might end up doing Pentagon, Fenix, and PAC against Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews. I don’t know..that may be a little bit later because I was told that Fenix still has three weeks, and three weeks is kinda missing March 6. But who knows? It’s wrestlers, it’s Rey Fenix and he’s crazy. Maybe he’ll make it and maybe that match will be on there as well.”
